SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Adds 2 Actors to its Cast; One Reportedly Being Another Villain

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING is ready to roll at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta and we are just waiting for Sony and Marvel Studios' official press release announcing filming has begun and/or the main cast of characters. And now two new actor names have been added to the list.

The first one is from Deadline who reports that Martin Starr (SILICON VALLEY) has been added in an undisclosed role. Perhaps due to his "tech geekiness" in HBO's Silicon Valley he might be the rumored-to-be-in-the-film Tinkereer. But this is just our guess and it might not hold up because of the other actor who has joined the cast.

The other new addition is being reported by The Hollywood Reporter who says Logan Marshall-Green (PROMETHEUS) is on board as another villain alongside of Michael Keaton. This comes just a few days after Donald Glover was reported to be added to the film. So if there was any thought Glover might be a villain it seems Marshall-Green will be one instead.

THR also claims that Keaton is indeed the main villain, which is thought to be the Vulture, so maybe either Starr or Marshall-Green are the (rumored) Tinkereer who provides the Vulture with his flight suit. We will have to wait for Sony and Marvel Studios' official announcement to see who is playing who.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING releases on July 7, 2017.

Starr in SILICON VALLEY

Marshall-Green in PROMETHEUS
