Will THOR: RAGNAROK have some influence from the 'Planet Hulk' comic book story arc? Will it be a buddy road trip movie with Thor and Hulk? Will a main cast member die and come back more powerful than before? These are just some of the past THOR: RAGNAROK rumors that have made their way online over the last few months.
THOR: RAGNAROK started filming in Australia on July 4 and its had its fair share of plot rumors. And whether or not those rumors are true remains to be seen. Especially since director Taika Waititi has confirmed to Polygon that the script is still evolving even while they're filming right now.
“It's hard to say what the movie is because it's changing. The plot has changed and the script has changed. There are buddy elements to it between Thor and the Hulk, but who knows what the final movie will look like.”
Script changes are nothing new as Marvel Studios is very fluid during all facets of their production process up until the movie needs to be handed over to Disney for release. This is all about making and releasing the best possible movie for its fans.
Waititi also wants fans to know that he does in fact have creative power to bring his style into the movie.
"I feel like a guest in Marvel's universe but with the creative freedom to do what I want."
THOR: RAGNAROK releases on November 3, 2017.
