Earlier this month the preparation work that goes into all the marketing and skinning of buildings and trains in San Diego for Comic-Con revealed one of the trains was skinned for AGENTS OF SHIELD. The marketing image showed fiery chain and rumors began to surface that one of the versions of Ghost Rider might be coming to the ABC show.
During their AGENTS OF SHIELD panel at SDCC, Marvel TV confirmed it. All of it!

Marvel introduced actor Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, who is a more recent incarnation of Ghost Rider in the comics and drives a badass muscle car instead of a motorcycle like other versions of Ghost Rider you may be familiar with as in Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch.

“Season 4 will unquestionably be the series’ biggest, most ambitious story yet, and it all begins with the introduction of one of our greatest legacy characters in Ghost Rider,” said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb, via Marvel.com. “When the Spirit of Vengeance rides into S.H.I.E.L.D., it’ll change everything.”
