While doing her press rounds for STAR TREK BEYOND, Zoe Saldana did some teasing for her next big screen adventure GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. IGN got her talking about Nebula and Gamora in the sequel.
"You’ll begin to get a glimpse of how terrible life must have been like to grow up with a crazy stepfather through Nebula... [who] is still in that teen-y, f*****g hateful s**t. She’s just resentful and bitter."
"Gamora, everything she does is trying to gain redemption for what she’d done before. That’s where you’re going to find her and then, obviously, their relationship is very volatile. We’re starting somewhere very crazy but appropriate given where we had ended things off in the first installment. So Thanos is definitely spoken about – not highly."
Also being reported by IGN, although not confirmed by Marvel Studios or director James Gunn, is that Nebula might be a part of the Guardians team by the end of the movie. However, this could just be the web outlet's assumption based on the new piece of concept art that was revealed yesterday.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 releases on May 5, 2017.
