Well that didn't take long but a grain of salt is still needed in this update to a video report actor Ben Affleck posted earlier this morning to social media teasing the villain Deathstroke. (See post link below.)
Now, according to TheWrap, Deathstroke will actually be the main villain in Affleck's solo BATMAN movie that he and DC Films co-head Geoff Johns are developing and writing right now. Affleck will also direct the solo BATMAN movie.
The timing of this report update is unusual seeing as how Affleck posted the video tease within the last two hours but sometimes news works quickly too, but this is still nothing more than a rumor right now until Affleck, Johns or the studio confirms anything.
Another rumor to go along with this one claims the solo BATMAN movie will have a deep basis in Arkham Asylum, but this too has yet to be confirmed by anyone associated with the movie. Lots of guesses and rumors right now while we all wait for any type of solid confirmation. Regardless, if these two are going to go against each other in a solo BATMAN movie then this has the makings of some of the most brutal super hero fight scenes ever!
