DC Comics fans should be happy today as a new report from TheWrap alleges to have been told who the main villain of Jason Momoa's AQUAMAN movie will be.
Black Manta.
In the comics, Black Manta has several variations of his origin story. The most recent saw him seeking vengeance against Aquaman for killing his father. Whether this comes to fruition in AQUAMAN is not confirmed by Warner Bros. or DC Films at the time this post was published. So take this info as rumor for the time being until director James Wan or someone higher up the studio food chain confirms it.
AQUAMAN releases on July 27, 2018.
