Marvel Wants You to Subscribe to Hulu as New Series RUNAWAYS is Coming to the Streaming Service

Marvel Television is spreading their super hero love beyond their streaming partnership with Netflix as Hulu is getting the next Marvel TV series for the comic book series, RUNAWAYS. This has been a series Marvel fans across social media has wanted badly for several years now, but this also means you'll have to add the monthly Hulu subscription service to your budget.

This news comes from Deadline Hollywood who write the following:

"Hulu is getting into the Marvel business with an order to Runaways, a drama series based on the fan-favorite Marvel Comics books. It comes from Gossip Girl creators Josh Schwartz & Stephanie Savage, Marvel Television and ABC Signature. The order is for a pilot plus additional scripts with an eye toward a full-season greenlight.
"Written by Schwartz and Savage, Marvel’s Runaways will tell the story of six diverse teenagers who can barely stand each other but who must unite against a common foe – their parents."

Don't forget Hulu doesn't release their original series for weekend binge watching as Hulu honors the traditional one new episode per week release schedule for their shows.

“We’ve known the Runaways‘ story would make great television,” said Jeph Loeb, EP and Head of Marvel Television, “and being lucky enough to have Josh and Stephanie — who have time and again created shows that speak so genuinely to this exact audience — write and produce the series is nothing short of remarkable.”
