Warner Bros. and DC Films' THE FLASH is moving forward in its development and pre-production cycle toward its early 2017 principle photography start date. Variety is now reporting the studio has targeted actor Billy Crudup for the role of Barry Allen's father, Henry.
Crudup is probably best known for his role as Dr. Manhattan in WATCHMEN.
If Crudup lands the role he will join Ezra Miller as well as Kiersey Clemons, who will be Iris West, in the Rick Famuyiwa helmed movie.
THE FLASH releases on March 16, 2018.
