Producer Simon Kinberg has said that DEADPOOL 2 (or what I like to think could be titled, "DEADPOOL GOES NO. 2") should begin filming in early 2017. This means casting news will begin hitting the web and it all starts right now with the female leads who are in the running for the role of the mutant Domino.
According to multiple sources, there are 10 women testing for the role right now. Here's the reported list: Lizzy Caplan (CLOVERFIELD), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD), Sienna Miller (G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA), Sofia Boutella (STAR TREK BEYOND), Stephanie Sigman (SPECTRE) Sylvia Hoeks (BLADE RUNNER 2049), Mackenzie Davis (MARTIAN), Ruby Rose (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK), Eve Hewson (BRIDGE OF SPIES), and Kelly Rohrbach (BAYWATCH [2017]).
That's a huge list of females trying to land the coveted role opposite of Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson.
In case you're not familiar with who Domino is in the comics, she's a mercenary, like Deadpool, whose real name is Neena Thurman.
