Right now Warner Bros. has two untitled DC Films movie release dates set for October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019. There's been a lot of guesses as to what movies these dates could be for and the studios have THE BATMAN, MAN OF STEEL 2 and a HARLEY QUINN spin-off all currently in development but without a set release date.
It seems more than obvious THE BATMAN will take one of these two release dates and it sounds even more likely if actor Joe Manganiello's recent comment to Entertainment Tonight holds up.
"...[J]ust getting ready to go shoot Batman in the spring."
This sounds like a pretty strong confirmation from the guy who is playing the film's main villain, Slade Wilson / Deathstroke.
Stay tuned because THE BATMAN seems to be ramping up toward production next year which also means casting announcements should be coming soon, too.
