There's been rumblings and whispers swirling around the web over the past few months thinking that Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox could be talking about a potential partnership similar to the one Marvel Studios made with Sony Pictures to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These rumors claimed the X-Men could be joining the MCU soon, too.
Well, stop blindly believing so many of these rumors because Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has issued a statement, to Collider, to those believing these false truths about any Marvel and Fox partnership.
"We all get along and I see [Fox] occasionally but there’s no change in any dynamic."
So there's your definitive answer right now. Marvel Studios and Fox are not partnering up to bring the X-Men into the MCU.
This all really came about because of a new Fox and Marvel TV partnership for the new X-Men spin-off series on FX LEGION, which debuts in February 2017. Nothing has changed when it comes to the relationship between Marvel Studios and Fox. Sorry to disappoint and maybe further into the future this might happen... maybe.
