Don't believe everything you read on the Internet, folks. This is something that is said over and over again and for good reason because any blog or website can create a rumor or a scoop and publish it claiming it is true. These rumors, then, this usually creates a chain reaction of other blogs and sites — and most times not here on DailySuperHero.com unless it's a great point to create some logical debate — to start aggregating these rumors and scoops without with or without much credibility. This is all the side effect of online business models which rely heavily on web traffic and page clicks to bring in more revenue through ad placement.
This is why GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 director James Gunn rocks on social media. Whether he's on Twitter or his Facebook page, he is more open than the majority of directors are in today's digital world. Gunn uses social media for Q&A sessions to answer fan questions, he shares fun artwork and he debunks false rumors about his work when they begin to trend online. Also, he shares his love for animals with lots of photos and much, much more. He's definitely worth the follow because he actually improves social media timelines and feeds everyday.
Anyway, more rumors hit the web a day or two ago about GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. Rumors that were unnecessary to share on DailySuperHero.com — if you really want to know what they are you can Google them yourself — because we knew Mr. Gunn would comment on them on social media eventually.
And comment he did...
Where do you guys get this nonsense? Who are all the people running around giving fake inside scoops to journalists? https://t.co/9abS5jGYcP— James Gunn (@JamesGunn) October 5, 2016
Sadly, the Twitter post Gunn is responding to has been deleted and is no longer available online, but if you search hard enough you'll probably find the referenced tweet.
Bottom line, we here at DailySuperHero.com try to only give you the news and info that is necessary and has credibility without spoiling things too much. We work very hard at it so you don't have to go from site-to-site to see if something is legit or not. If you stick with us, we will always take care of that for you because if a rumor is on DailySuperHero.com then it's plausible more so than when you see rumors and scoops on tabloid sites, fan-driven content blogs and many other spots online.
