BLACK PANTHER already had already assembled an impressive main cast — a hashtag on Twitter even joined the fray since it's so LIT — but today it's gotten even better. Marvel has officially announced that Angela Bassett has joined the cast as the mother of actor Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, Ramonda.
Bassett joins Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, BLACK PANTHER begins filming in early 2017 and will hit theaters on February 16, 2018.
