Earlier this week it was confirmed that the untitled HAN SOLO Star Wars spin-off movie officially started filming. Following the past adventures of a young Han Solo, Star Wars fans will learn how he and Chewbacca met as well as see more of his relationship with Lando Calrisson.
Alden Ehrenreich is playing the young version of Han, that Harrison Ford made famous. And Donald Glover will be the young version of Lando, that Billy Dee Williams made famous.
The Hollywood Reporter spoke with Williams about a recent meeting he had at a restaurant with Glover and said it was a way for Glover to pick his brain about Lando. But what Williams also revealed was the implication that Star Wars fans will see how the Millennium Falcon came into Han's possession.
"... this one is about how we [referring to Han and Lando] established our relationship and the question of the Millennium Falcon."
In the Star Wars Original Trilogy, it was revealed that Han won the Millennium Falcon from Lando in a card game called sabacc. Apparently, according to Williams unless we are interpreting his quote wrong, HAN SOLO will show Star Wars fans that card game as well as Han's acquisition of the Falcon.
