Director Peyton Reed spoke with Collider confirming ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is just as much of a Wasp movie as it is an Ant-Man movie.
"...I always thought of Ant-Man and Wasp as a team and that’s a lot of what the second movie is really about is how they work together, what their personal and professional relationships are like... but we haven’t seen her with her full power set and everything, so to me she’s not a supporting character in this movie."
Reed also confirmed the movie will begin filming in June at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, as long as everything stays on schedule, which is a month earlier than previously expected for production to start.
ANT-MAN AND THE WASP releases in the U.S. on July 6, 2018.
