Writer and director James Gunn has teased Marvel fans that the hero Quasar could in fact be in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3.

Whether this is true or not remains to be seen, especially since it can be hard to believe what really is a tease or what could simply be some trolling to distract fans with falsehoods.
There have been several versions of Quasar in the Marvel comic book universe; read about them on Wiki, by clicking right here. [And if we had to guess, we would assume it would be Phyla-Vell as Quasar in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.]
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 is currently being developed and written by Gunn and could release as early as 2020.
