Actress Brie Larson has to be excited to get her hands dirty as Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, next year when she is introduced in AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR. But she must really be itching to bring Danvers into the spotlight as Marvel Studios' first female solo movie when CAPTAIN MARVEL releases in 2019. Filming begins in early 2018 and it sounds like Larson will not be alone in her solo movie.
According to Deadline, Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury in CAPTAIN MARVEL. This was first rumored by OmegaUnderground several days ago.
CAPTAIN MARVEL releases in the U.S. on March 8, 2019.
