Peter Parker's Margin Scribbles Are the Best Part of the 'SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING - The Art of the Movie' Book
I have a confession to make... I am obsessed with Marvel Studios' 'Art of' books. So much so that I own all 16 of them for every Marvel Studios movie they have released. I really enjoy all the artwork from the earliest concept art pieces to the later and more detailed work, as well as all the little tidbits of information included about the production.
So it came as a great surprise when my 'SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING - The Art of the Movie' book arrived because when I removed the book from its sleeve it looked exactly like a high school yearbook. A very cool concept for this book and one that makes perfect sense. But the cool factor of this particular book did not end there as I flipped through and saw that in the margins of many of its pages were little drawings and scribbles done by Peter Parker himself! Exactly what you probably did with your own high school yearbooks!! (I know I did.)
While I'm not here to spoil the book for you because, in my opinion, it is always worth the purchase and added insight that goes into designing these movies, I will share some of Parker's scribbles in these photos I took from the book's pages...
