Right now, Warner Bros. is riding a high from the success of WONDER WOMAN and later this fall JUSTICE LEAGUE finally hits theaters. But then there is a lull in their DC superhero movie release schedule of just about 13 months between the release of JUSTICE LEAUGE and AQUAMAN, which is currently filming but doesn't come out in December 2018.
The studio is pushing really hard to get DC movie projects out of development and ready for filming as soon as possible to prevent future lulls like the 13 month standstill DC fans will have to endure. Projects in active development right now included: WONDER WOMAN 2, THE BATMAN, MAN OF STEEL 2, GREEN LANTERN CORPS, THE FLASH, CYBORG, GOTHAM CITY SIRENS, SUICIDE SQUAD 2 and several others.
Warner Bros. has now added two more release dates for untitled DC superhero movies on February 14, 2020 and June 5, 2020. Here's the new updated release schedule for DC movies:
JUSTICE LEAGUE - November 17, 2017
AQUAMAN - December 21, 2018.
SHAZAM! - April 5, 2019
JUSTICE LEAGUE 2 - June 14, 2019
