HAWKEYE Disney+ Series Lands Writer in Former MAD MEN Scribe

Disney+ does not launch until this November. In the meantime, that means a tremendous amount of streaming series news will be flowing as new shows are developed, cast, and put into production. 

Marvel Studios is leading the charge with over a half dozen shows in-the-works right now. One of them is HAWKEYE, starring actor Jeremy Renner reprising his role as Clint Barton. In his new series, Clint will teach and groom a successor in Kate Bishop. 

While Kate has yet to be cast, the series has found its writer in former MAD MEN wordsmith Jonathan Igla, per THR.

HAWKEYE will release in Marvel Studios' Phase Four and is slated for a fall 2021 release on Disney's streaming service.
