STRANGER THINGS Star Sadie Sink Joins Next MCU SPIDER-MAN Movie

The next Tom Holland-led SPIDER-MAN movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to begin filming sometime this summer and Deadline has the exclusive on a new addition to the franchise.

Deadline reports:

"Sources tell Deadline that Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is set to join the sequel from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios. Holland is already set to return as Peter Parker."

According to the report, Sink could be (not confirmed) introduced as the X-Men member Jean Grey. However, the MCU still has yet to introduce Mary Jane Watson even though Zandaya's character was called MJ in the previous Spider-Man trilogy, but that stood for Michelle Jones, not Mary Jane. So there's a chance Sink could be the real MJ from the comics who Peter Parker fell in love with.

The next SPIDER-MAN movie is set to release in theaters on July 31, 2026.
